Which products are affected?

Once Upon a Farm Tractor Wheels Organic Toddler Soft-Baked Bars, including Strawberry, Pumpkin & Beet; Apple, Sweet Potato & Spinach; Banana, Pumpkin & Cauliflower; variety packs; and Tractor Wheels included in online snack sampler packs.

The FDA advisory applies to every lot code and expiration date. The company announcement includes expired products that may still be on shelves, plus unexpired products with “Best If Used By” dates from October 30, 2026 through August 26, 2027. That range does not exclude older, expired bars.

The company says distribution was nationwide, including Puerto Rico, through stores and online sales. FDA names Costco, Target and Walmart and notes the bars may also be sold by other vendors.

Why were they recalled?

FDA reports describe toddlers aged 1½–2½ experiencing complete airway obstruction after eating the bars. According to the advisory, chewing can form a sticky mass; some reported incidents required emergency intervention and hospital observation.

The company announcement separately reports three choking complaints and says no injuries had been reported to the company announcement’s date. That statement does not replace or lessen the FDA’s warning.
